What's the first place you look when shopping for, or researching, a product or service online? It's Google, isn't it? Something like 200 million searches are done on Google per day, so you're not alone.
Google Insights for Search can tell you more about those searches. Put a word, phrase, product name, whatever into the search box and the site will tell you how often that term is searched for, how that changes over time, where the searches emanate from, and more.
If you sell a product or service online, you can use this tool to learn more about how your potential customers search for that product or service. And then you can use that knowledge to help them reach you.
